Student Undergraduate Research Guided Experience (SURGE)

The Office of Undergraduate Research’s SURGE program offers financial support to WashU undergraduates to pursue biodiversity research during the summer with faculty and researchers from WashU, Missouri Botanical Garden, and Saint Louis Zoo.

Research Courses

Learn about biological diversity and conservation in the classroom, field, and laboratory. WashU offers courses that allow students to conduct hands-on research alongside LEC Research Mentors.
