Tammy Cloutier is an Environmental Studies PhD candidate whose research focuses on zoological and wild painted dog behavior and growth rates. She is excited to be collaborating with the Endangered Wolf Center and their painted dogs (including 23 new painted dog puppies!). She is collecting data from December 2018 until May 2019 and is looking for interns to support her project.

Positions open for Spring 2019

The Animal Behavior Laboratory at the Saint Louis Zoo is currently seeking applications for our spring internship program. Throughout the course of the internship, students will collect data live from the public space or by reviewing video footage using Noldus Observer XT software. Interns are expected to perform on studies of social dynamics, mother and infant interactions, as well as behavioral diversity and use of space.
